I just wandered back upon our family blog. It’s been over a year since I’ve posted. I really want to keep this going so I’ll just pick up right here with stuff I feel like sharing.

Reese turned 6 recently and had a Hokie themed party at Hand in Hand park.

Steph and Mike moved to Virginia and we get to see them in a regular basis now! Wahoo!!!

Pace is no longer a baby 😦

Tim and I are busier than ever, but we wouldn’t change a thing. We even manage to get out and have some fun on our own occasionally.

Tristan Turns 11 and Other Tristan Related Things

Tristan is growing up so fast. It’s fun to think back to the first time I met her. A sweet, bashful, little 4-year old. We colored a picture of a kite together that day. She is such a sweet, caring, compassionate kid, and I’m proud to be her step-mom. Here’s what she’s been up to lately…

She turned 11:

She had her 5th grade promotion. On to middle school!

She had her dance recital (I wish I had more pictures, but Pace was enjoying the show so much I had to spend most of my time in the lobby watching through the doors.):

Mother’s Day 2013

This post is a little late. I had an awesome mother’s day this year. I got to sleep in, spend the day with the family, do some shopping, and I was off duty during bath time. Hey, it’s the little things.

 

Pace’s 12 Month Check-up

12-month stats: 31 inches / 22 pounds
At 12 months old Pace is:
• Walking like a pro, and trying to run
• Blowing kisses
• Being a picky eater
• Cutting his 9th tooth (a molar)
• Saying mama, dada, bye bye, uh oh, and thank you (ta-too)

Taylor Swith

I recorded Reese singing and playing the guitar. I asked her if she wanted to be like Taylor Swift, to which she quickly replied, “No, I do not want to be like Taylor Swith!” Alrighty then.

Avery Hazel Green

Our sweet neice made her fashionably late arrival on March 3, 2013. She was 7 lb. 8 oz. and 19 3/4 in. It’s killing me that I can’t be there to hold her, but Reese and I will be going up to visit in April! Avery, Erin, and Shawn are all doing great.

Added “uh oh” and “mama” to his vocabulary
Running from his sisters
Walking all over the place
Sit to stand without pulling up on anything
Getting some curls on the back of his head
Smiling 99% of the time

A Karlie Blog

Here are a few things Karlie has been up to lately:

She won first place in the MLK poster contest. There was a community brunch that we attended where she was recognized for this award.

She competed in the Rock Star Invitational gymnastics meet last weekend. She placed 5th on balance beam!

And apparently she’s been taking pictures of herself on the iPad because I found this in my photo stream!

Pace started walking over the weekend! 9 months and 20 days old. So proud of my little guy. He was proud of himself, too!
